FIA's Lobby Day is officially back in-person February 1-2, 2023, and we couldn't be more excited to have all our members back together in the nation's capital!

Why Attend:
     •   Critical to meet NEWLY ELECTED lawmakers to establish lines of communication and relationships
     •   We need your assistance MAKING UNFAIR TRADE and LABOR SHORTAGES visible and work with
          lawmakers on solutions
     •   EVERY SINGLE MEMBER VOICE MATTERS! Lobby Day is critical for establishing contact with
          lawmakers to get them to visit our plants and get more invested in our success and survival

In partnership with our lobby firm (The Franklin Partnership), will be organizing meetings with key members of the U.S. House and Senate along with leading Lobby Day attendees to visits on Capitol Hill. This partnership allows FIA to expand its reach on Capitol Hill immensely. We will secure visits and presentations from important keynote presenters to maximize your time and visit.

On January 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. EST, The Franklin Partnership will host a virtual overview of Lobby Day and highlight our legislative priorities for all attendees. You will be sent an invite two weeks prior to the meeting.

  Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill
1:30 p.m.  Capitol Hill Meeting with the House and Senate 
  (The meetings are scheduled according to plant location/company presence and
  detailed schedules with bios of the members of Congress/staff for each meeting are
  distributed prior to February 1) 
5:00 p.m.                Group Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill 
  (A member of Congress is invited to speak to the group, schedule permitting)

8:30 a.m.  Current Status of Trade Issues & Legislation Presentation

A room black has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill at the discounted rate of $269 per night. The deadline to make reservations in the FIA room block is January 6, 2023. Rooms reserved after this date are subject to space and rate availability. This is a very popular time in Washington, DC, so book your room early. When the FIA room block is filled, we will do the best we can to accommodate additional attendees.

Cancellation:
Cancellations will be permitted until January 18, 2023 and will be refunded in full. After January 18, 2023 no refunds will be given, but substitutions are allowed if submitted to FIA in writing.

This is an FIA Member Only event. No registration is final until accepted by FIA. FIA reserves the right to refuse registration/attendance to any person. Any registration that is not accepted by the FIA will be refunded in full.
