2023 FIA Theory & Applications of Forging & Die Design

SIFCO Industries, Inc., an Ohio corporation, was founded in 1913. SIFCO Industries, Inc. is engaged in the production of forgings and machined components primarily for the Aerospace, Energy and Defense markets. The processes and services include forging, heat-treating and machining. They provide customers with envelope and precision forgings, rough, and machined components, as well as sub-assemblies. SIFCO services both original equipment manufacturers ("OEM") and aftermarket customers with products that range in size from approximately 2 to 1,200 pounds. The Company's strategic vision is to build a leading Aerospace, Energy and Defense company positioned for long-term, stable growth and profitability.

The plant tour facility will have the opportunity to review the list of attendees prior to the event. They will have the right to refuse entrance to registrants at this discretion. If they refuse entry to a registrant, the FIA staff will then contact the attendee to let them know that they may not attend the tour.

Submit a Problem for the Problem-Solving Session
FIA Member Companies are encouraged to submit a real-life problem for the problem-solving session.
A brief statement of the problem, material being forged, drawings of parts and/or dies, sample part (if size permits), and a description of effort (what has been tried that didn't work) will be needed. This information should be submitted to FIA, Attn: Gabby Schultz (
gabby@forging.org
).
