FIA's Orders & Shipments Survey program re-launched in 2019 as a web-based high-end survey product conducted on a monthly basis. The survey's scope is confidentially tracking FIA member North American shipments and bookings for forged products inclusive of the Impression Die, Open Die and Rolled Ring processes.

Ian is responsible for enterprise-wide data governance and utilization of information as an asset. Ian joined AMT in 2000, and leverages his experience and leadership to help the industry make informed, data-drive business decisions. Over his tenure, he has served members by providing market intelligence through the maintenance, development, and oversight of benchmarking surveys and the delivery of custom economic research. Ian has earned a B.S. in Applied Economics and an M.S. in Business Intelligence and Analytics.

James R. Warren, President & CEO, Forging Industry Association
Warren's background includes 33 years of association & educational manufacturing leadership at world-leading manufacturing associations and educational institutions in the U.S., including the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME); Fabricators & Manufacturers Intl. (FMA); University of Michigan; Lawrence Technological University, and currently as President & CEO of the Forging Industry Association (FIA), North America's sole trade association and show producers for the continents 450 forging producers. His overall experience with the forging process includes over 25 years of educational program creation and management. Significant accomplishments include founding and running Manufacturing Day (2012) - an annual celebration of manufacturing (first Friday of October) attracting over 300,000 students to plant tours across the U.S. and Canada, and starting FIA Magazine (2019) which is the leading content-producing quarterly publication with the largest circulation in the North American forging industry. Warren also serves as the Executive Director of FIA's Forging Foundation (FIERF) holding dual roles at FIA and FIERF (2020). FIERF is the sole forging foundation in North America dedicated to the forging industry annually awarding $200,000+ to students for scholarships and to educational institutions for technology research projects.
